Adult Teams Schedule
A2 & B1 Tryouts class description:
Players interested in joining a Marin League Team must be at level and register for tryouts by 06/28 deadline. Cost is $20 non-refundable.
We offer 2 teams: A2 level (USTA Strong 3.5 & 4.0 players) and B1 level (USTA 3.0 & 3.5 players).

Players must then complete tryouts by 08/30 deadline to determine if they’ll make the team or not. Players who do not complete tryouts by deadline will be eliminated from team contention. Please do not procrastinate on setting up your matches as to not miss out on the deadline.
Tryouts will be consisting of Doubles mini-matches using a best out of 3 Coman Super Tie-Breakers format (to 10pts, win by 2). It is highly recommended you find the partner you will want to tryout with (who is not already enrolled in a ML team). If you don't have one, you'll be randomly assigned one provided another player needs a partner too. The tryouts pairs that make the team will not necessarily compete together during the season, this is just to get in.
Pairs will then be divided in groups containing up to 4 pairs competing in a Round Robin format. Each team plays each other once (maximum of 3 matches)
Scoring system:
- 3pts to 0 for a 2TB to 0 win.
- 2pts to 1 for a 2TB to 1 win.
The pairs who will have scored the greatest number of points qualify for the team. Qualified players must then register for the team itself. In case of a tie, pairs with the greatest number of points scored during each TB advance.
Marin League Tuesday B1 Team Practice (USTA 3.0 & 3.5 players)
Dates: On-going weekly practices from August 27th, 2024, to February 25th, 2025 (except on 11/26, 12/24&12/31)
Registration Deadline: 03/03/2024. Min/Max:15/20
Cost: $495 (includes all fees except USTA Membership and Individual League fees).
Description: Marin League B1 Ladies Team Practice (roster limited to 20 players; Level required for this team: USTA 3.0 or higher) Competition starts in September 2024 and ends in March 2025. Practices and home matches will be held on Tuesdays. Practices will be held from 9AM to 10:30 AM and matches will be from 9AM to noon/1PM (depending on shift) Practices will focus on doubles play, strategy, patterns, communication, and partnership with occasional technical pointers. Home matches will be on Tuesdays. Away matches will be on the hosting team’s chosen day.
Marin League Thursday A2 Team Practice (USTA Strong 3.5 & 4.0 players)
Season: On-going weekly practices from August 29th, 2024, to February 27th, 2025 (except on 11/28, 12/26&01/02)
Registration Deadline: 03/03/2022. Min/Max:15/20
Cost: $495 (includes all fees except USTA Membership and Individual League fees).
Description: Marin League A2 Ladies Team Practice (roster limited to 20 players; Level required for this team: positive USTA 3.5 track record or higher) Competition starts in September 2024 and ends in March 2025. Practices and home matches will be held on Thursdays. Practices will be held from 9AM to 10:30 AM and matches will be from 9AM to noon/1PM (depending on shift). Practices will focus on doubles play, strategy, patterns, communication, and partnership with occasional technical pointers. Home matches will be on Thursdays. Away matches will be on the hosting team’s chosen day.
